Are Myrtle Beach resorts open in March?

Emily asked:

I’m searching for hotels and it looks like they’re closed in MarcH? Am I understanding that correctly? Is it cold then?

If you research more, most hotels / resorts take March to prepare for the coming season. It’s still cold, but not as bad as December.

There are plenty of resorts in Myrtle Beach that are open year round. Your best bet may be to look for condo rentals. You can get some good deals in March for weekly rentals of condos. Talk to a Myrtle Beach real estate agent. many of them are property managers as well.

It can still be cold in March. However, it is probably warmer than NY or further north!

I have stayed in Myrtle Beach in February and it was warm enough to play golf.
