Honeymoon Destinations within US$3000 during Thanksgiving or Christmas?

We live in California. We are not interested in beach resorts. We are looking at places like Egypt, South America, Europe and Central America in that order. We can spend upto US$3000 in all. We can take a 10-day vacation during Thanksgiving (November) or Christmas/New Year (December). We don’t eat meat and don’t drink alcohol (but for wines). We can speak only English. Do you have a suggestion for some possible honeymoon destinations?

Five Nights six days

Day 03 : After B/f visit patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changunarayan then drive up to Mountain alt 2200 m Nagarkot O/n Club Himalaya Resort.
Day 04 : Am drive to to Kurintar, Check in River Side Spring Resort Hotels, after Lunch go proceed to Manakamana temple Known as goddess of wishes by cable car, enjoy the surrounding atmosphere and mountain views are great from there, return to Resort enjoy at Sandy River Bank and Resort own perhaps Nepal top swimming pool.
Day 05 : Am drive to Kathmandu, day at free for personnel activities O/n Hotel Radisson
Day 06 : Transfer to Airport

If cold isn’t an issue and you are both sporty, I think visiting Europe is a great idea. Go to the German markets and ski in the Northern Italian Alps. That’d be really nice.
Wherever you decide to go get a Lonely Planet book. They have really great deals at all levels. Everything from the super duper cheap to more luxurious! Check these other European ideas out:
Don’t rule out the Caribbean either. Some of the islands are really cool and don’t boost those crazy resorts. Even they do most of the islands have off the beaten track Inns, House, or Condo rentals.
