I absolutely loved staying at the Caribbean Beach. My family and I stayed there the last time we visited Disney, and had a blast. Of all of the moderate resorts, it is my favorite. As everyone else said, it is a bit large, so try to get one of the preferred rooms. It has a pretty good food court, as well as a sit down restaurant. The pool is large, has a slide and waterfall, and is usually pretty crowded. Each section also has a small pool that is usually not as crowded, but if I remember correctly does not have all of the fun stuff with it either. There is a beach to play on, and you can rent the bicycles and water sprite boats to go sailing around the lagoon. You should have a great time when you are not at the parks!

Have a great trip

Caribbean Beach is a really nice resort, especially for a moderate. As the others mentioned, the resort is large, so hopefully you paid for the preferred room. If you get put in the back of the resort you can have a lof of walking before you even start at the parks.

The theme is really nice. As the other answer said, your food options are rather limited, but you do have the option of so many other places on property, so this way you can save some money and still have all the options.

I think Caribbean is the most popular resort, it is sold out a lot of the times I look for my vacations.

I think that you will be very happy with your resort.

Have a great time!

I stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort in September of 2006 and really enjoyed it. It's a very big layout so expect to do alot of walking. The room was a good size and tropically decorated. I really loved the smaller pools that were connected to each building, and the tropical island theme of the entire resort was very beautiful. The only negative thing about any disney moderate resort is the foodcourt. The food is pricey and average at best. Overall I would definetly stay there again.

From what I hear, it's really nice....although if you're in certain buildings at the back of the resort it's a long walk to get to the bus depot to go to the parks.
