You can drive most of the way to Apuao Grande Island. It has very white sand beach, great food, private, not busy. Get away from it all.

    swaggy.com has info.

Paguppud in Ilocos which 12 hours travel by land from Manila, the beaches at Subic, Zambales about four hours travel and the Caylabne at Cavite which is about 3 hours from Manila.

I can recommend Laiya Beach in San Juan batangas, Caylabne beach in Cavite, Camayan Beach in Subic, Eagle Point Beach resort in Batangas etc. it depends on your budget. the travel time for those resorts are 2 to 3 hrs drive from manila. you can contact JLT Travel & Tours at tel# (632) 3631139 or 3657602. They can arrange and recommend a place suited for your budget as well as your expectation to the beach.

I agree with Kibbs about the beaches at Subic.

Subic is an all around nice area.

Pagudpud Beach Resort is really nice up in Ilocos.

pagudpud in ilocos. that’s the best beach here in Luzon. and since you dont want to fly,, you can drive your way there.. although its really far so it’ll take you like 10 hours. really long drive but its worth it. but if you’re loooking for a really quick getaway,, try puerto galera instead. its already in mindoro but its accessible from batangas.
